The report

Appliance Lookup is a one-time purchase of $7 for one data plate. You upload a photo or type the brand, model, and serial. The paid report includes the estimated manufacture date when a published serial convention supports one, a typical lifespan, warranty guidance, and a maintenance schedule.

Dates come from published serial conventions and can repeat on a cycle. Age, lifespan, and warranty notes are planning estimates. They are not a manufacturer determination, a warranty decision, or a promise that the appliance will last a certain time. Coverage usually starts at purchase, not at the factory. Call the manufacturer with the model and serial before you decline a repair.

If the date code does not decode, the preview says so before you pay. The paid report will still say the date is unknown. Payment does not create a year that the code does not support.

Payment

Payment is processed by Stripe. You enter the card on Stripe Checkout. Grey Rock does not see the card number. The price is shown before you leave this site. A labeled sample plate is not a product and cannot be purchased.

What this is not

The report is not a repair diagnosis, a safety inspection, or a home warranty. Stop and call someone if a unit leaks onto electrics, trips a breaker, or smells of gas or burning. Hands-on work from Grey Rock Estate Solutions is a separate arrangement, not included in the $7.

Your plate

Submit a plate you are allowed to read: your own appliance, or one you are working on with permission. Don't send a photo of someone else's house just because the sticker was visible.
